Hi,
Yesterday after log in i realized that the doors of my house had been moved to gain access. I only gave permission to move my objects to one of my friends. He firmly denies my accusations against him and now I am confused.
Is there any way that some other citizen can move my objects without my permission???
Please help me solve my dilemma......
Magda.

Are they shared with a group? Or more likely, is the "Allow anyone to move" checkbox checked?

Some door scripts can move the doors themselves. Usually when activated in high-lag times.
I keep having to move my one set of doors back, but usually only off like .100m However, one friend had her hanger doors for her plane go halfway across a sim.

I get this problem a lot with doors... especially if the creator used an old script. I got tired of having to constantly readjust, so now I tend to use those that come with a phantom, rather than rotate, option = no movement! lol

I still have this issue on some of my rentals. The doors will move to their open state and then that becomes their default position until I move the stinkers back. Usually happens after a bad SL day server wise and can be mighty annoying!

I'm glad I read this thread. I periodically find my doors misaligned. Glad to see it's not just me.

Are you near a sim border? The doors on one house I owned came with the warning that they might move on their own if you were near a sim border.

Yes, I'm near a SIM border.......but never happened before in 6 months...
Today I also discovered that one prim on the first floor behaves like a phantom prim (I fall down through it), but the phantom option on that prim is not selected....
