Hello,
I had not logged into SL for five days. I just logged-in now, looking forward to seeing the IMs I missed. But no IMs were reported; however, the following message appeared:
"[12:22] Second Life: Too many instant messages. Delivery capped."
Does anyone know how I can retrieve those IMs? I could not find a way, as I explored the various SL menus.
Thanks!
Avanti

Hi Avanti
I have my IM's set to be delivered to my email, so even if they are capped inworld I can still pick them up and read them from my email. If you don't already have your IM's set to go to your email when you are offline, I would suggest you get them set. Not sure if there is any way to retrieve them other than this though, hopefully someone else may know.

What might also help, though can't say if that's true in your case, is stopping group notices if you're not going to be around for a few days. That way you'll still get your IMs, unless they exceed a certain number as well. (Someone help.......... how many is it again?). I had mine capped largely because of group notices.
