This sucks.. my sister's account for terminated for some reason, with out warning, and now I can't log into my account. I get the "Second Life cannot be accessed from this computer" message.
I have opened a support ticket on the issue and they said it's been "escalated". I've also filed an appeal on my sisters account.
I'm just wondering if anyone has had a similar occurrence and if they got access back after making an appeal?

There must be a very serious action associated with her account. SL will only ban an avatar name in 90% of instances. For them to have done an IP block, there is something they have considered a MAJOR infraction. Normally you get an email when your suspended etc, have her check her email and see if she has anything.
Good luck.

Yeah, she did... just the termination notification email... there wasn't even a reason described... I also did a virus scan on our computer and there was a trojan found. I really hope someone didn't access her account and cause her ban.

File a support ticket, they usually fix it on request.

SL usually doesn't do simple IP bans since IP's can change, they ban based on a hash created by the client. If you get copy of the source you can see how the hash is generated.
To get a termination and hash ban.. ouch, what did she do? Even the most egregious activities I've seen in SL usually only result in a suspension for a day to a week. But a death penalty case. Those are very rare, usually when people get caught red handed doing content theft or subverting LL's ability to make money somehow.
Speaking of which, does anyone know what ever happened with that lawsuit in Pennsylvania over the land purchasing thing a few years back?

Risk API possibly?
Has your sister received any large, inexplicable gifts of money lately?

Underage on the mainland will get you banned. Also, sex as/with a child avatar or with someone who is under 18.
LL will never say why you were banned or suspended. If you go through the support ticket route you may get the general category of the reason but never any details. No when, where or who.
