I used to be able to right click my name and choose "Friends", somehow with the new version it's gone. Anyone know how to re-enable it?

There's a JIRA to change things back. In that Jira, two folks have posted XML files that you can use to restore the PIE menu.

Jira: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-12946

I believe either of the two XML fixes attached to that bug will restore Friends and Groups.

why would you want to friend yourself... or do I even want to know?

it's still on the pie menu in 1.23, it's just that some options replace it depending whether you click an attachment or the actual avatar skin/clothing IIRC

Get in the habit of using Shift-Ctrl-F and you won't need to worry about it any more.

I wish they would include an option in 'Preferences' to automatically decline offers of 'Friendship' with maybe a nicely worded reply in the same vein as 'Busy' mode.
