Avatar strange actions - help!

Just starting a few days ago, weird things happen to me: 1) every time I log in I'm stuck in the T position...sometimes walking helps stop it, sometimes I have to sit and stand, 2) sometimes when I'm walking and then stop, my feet keep moving (not a lag problem, I can step back one step and everything is fine, I'm not moving when this happens), 3) I will occasionally levitate without changing position, sometimes will sink too, and 4) sometimes I just pop randomly into the T-position. I'm suspecting it is due to one of the animations (I have Hug, Pounce and the freebie Walk, plus a Flight enhancement). I'm in the process of getting an AO and reorganizing myself, but I've had these for a couple of weeks now with no prior problem.

Any of this sound familiar to anyone? I'm going to get rid of all the animations for a couple of days and see what happens. Thanks! Jackie.

Sounds like a reasonable thing to try for starters. I have to say, however, that the symptoms sound network related. Assuming the ISP itself isn't doing bad things to you, I'd try rebooting any network gear between the viewer machine and the ISP's entry point, including their modem/router.

Could be SL? Wondering because for some reason, all my 'hidden' attachments, facelight, hug hud, AO, things like that, that you 'wear' decided to become visible last night, had boxes hanging all over my body. I just said well, will give it a day, see what happens.

I offer quite reasonable rates to perform demon exorcisms in SL. I will even wear a priest costume for added effect. However, my RP limits are... no age play.

Maybe try the attachments->detach all from the pie menu, then set to clear the cache, logout, and specify a different region to login to on the login screen. There has been a few wierd issues with SL last few days, so maybe that'll help.

Hmmm. These appear as gray, untextured boxes, and were before fully transparent? I suppose they could all be using the same fully transparent texture, and that texture has somehow been corrupted in cache. Or the textures (and/or texture IDs?) are just never making it across the wire to your viewer. I agree with trying the old clear-cache-and-relog thing again. But there's still a possible network explanation, too.

I'll try clearing cache. I also lost a necklace the other day and was going to try it for that reason as well. Don't suspect the ISP, no other symptoms, nothing in the Netgear router or Motorola 5100 modem logs...hate to have to reset the router since it sometimes screws up my HP all in one unit's IP connection, but certainly will try the modem if I run out of alternatives.
