Anyone else finding money transactions going stale? This is *after* the Resolved thing on the status blog.

It's not me. It's customers. Nobody can buy anything in the store and yet there isn't a gridwide problem - apparently. That's why I'm asking if anyone else is seeing problems. It could sim specific - it's being restarted now.

ohh sorry I misunderstood

be sure to let us know if the restart fixes it

and that sucks!!

didn't SL recently start to do a rolling restart then had to reverse it or something?

maybe that is related to it as well

I hope that if anyone has problems making purchases from my place let me know

good luck Phil

The restart fixed it, but I was lucky because I learned about the problem when a friend got it and told me about it. I gave her the item and she tried to pay me but she couldn't. Soon afterwards she managed to pay me from another sim. That's what made me wonder if it was sim specific. The live help didn't know anything about that and all she did was get me to submit a ticket, which I did. But I was in a queue and people couldn't buy anything here - and it could be days before anything was done. It was me who suggested a restart because of that friend's payment. If that hadn't happened I'd have lost a lot of money while waiting for days.

Purchases were impossible for several hours and people were coming and going in the store all the time. Live help was useless on this occasion, but I was lucky.

I have had good experiences with live help and mainland sim restart

very good experience, no request to submit a ticket, they just did the restart for me and waited to make sure all went well

I often wonder if I just get lucky and get the more experienced lindens on live help, that are pretty secure with their job and know what they can and can not do, as apposed to getting a new linden in training that are afraid to step outside of the box and do something that could or would rectify the situation at hand

Heh. I was lucky that a friend tried to pay me from a different sim as quickly as she did, otherwise I would never have thought that it could be sim-specific. I've never heard of money transactions failing in just one sim before, but we learn as we go on :)

Me too. I've always had good, pleasant and, where possible, helpful service from live support, but sometimes the person isn't as experienced as others are. I had one not long ago who said that s/he was new when I asked for a sim restart to get rid of some ghosts. S/he had to check if that was ok :)
