Several days ago I was moving and in my haste, decided to select all of my items and return to owner, since I'm the owner. Now I can't find ANY of it! I've looked for the "broken" blocks and rezzed all kinds of stuff named "object" and no luck. Does anyone have any ideas??? I miss my Orca

Returned stuff usually goes into your lost and found folder. Make sure you have the all tab selected on your inventory rather than recent.

I've looked in Lost and Found too, but no luck yet there either. Wish the stuff would have kept their names. I'll make sure I'm using the right tab when I sign in again, Thanks Ciaran!

If you still don't see it in lost and found, try clearing your cache. That forces you to re-download your item list from the asset server and often things show up.
![]() Edit Menu >Preferences >>Network Tab >>>Clear Cache. Restart SL. _____________________

It might be coelesed (sp) in to on object in your objects folder. the name of the object can be quite confusing as it might not relate to what you would think. In the objects folder it would look like a set of stacked boxes.

it's probably in your lost and found, in the broken cube thingy... titled "pink flower" or "object" or some other stupid name of just ONE of the many items returned.
having said that, i have lost MANY items by returning them to "myself" in this fashion. i even lost a whole house once. i regret that more than any other loss. when someone else sends stuff back, the system seems to handle that fine. when you send it to yourself, it gets al borky. i hope you find your stuff. _____________________

I had this very same ting happen at my sim when I turned on auto return.
All of my older objects that didnt have the land group set properly were returned, and every last item that was set to no transfer disappeared completely. I lost about 10 grand worth of no transfer items because of this . So is it possible the things you cant find were no transfer? |

The only things that get trashed in a return are DEEDED no-transfer objects. Returning an object in an of itself generally does not change ownership, except for this quirk with deeded notrans objects (which I hate. If it's no trans, make it copiable).
Of course, it could just be the asshat server... _____________________

*Sigh* Well, I tried clearing cache and that didn't work, and I'm not sure if these items were no transfer, but I'm very sure they were no copy
None of the items were deeded either. I rezzed every broken block thingy and nothing that I was looking for turned up. Some very interesting things DID rez tho, hmmmm. I think I'm out of luck, but thanks everyone for your help. Live and learn I suppose ![]() |

I had a problem with this a few weeks ago. A large number of objects were returned coalesced into a single object in my Lost and Found.
I attempted a rez - trying to put them back more or less where they were, but I got the message that an object could not be rezd because it was not permitted on my neighbour's land. It seems that the coalesced objects will rez in their relative positions and if one goes over a boundary onto land where you don't have permission to create objects, then you can lose the lot - or at least the ones you did not have a copy of. The moral of this little tale is - make sure you have enough room to rez. Not always easy when you can't tell exactly what is coalesced into what! _____________________
