I didn't even know it was being launched until I walked past an Apple Store at 7.45am yesterday and saw the queues!

Updated my iPod Touch to the latest firmware last night. With all the 3d games out already for the iPhone and Touch, and given they support OpenGL (albeit with a few limitations), I anticipate some kind of port of the viewer from the Mac platform. (Crosses fingers).

I'm loving the new applications! I've found some very neat and useful ones so far.

Cro Mag rocks, if you like racing type games. Still shopping to-do list programs and eReader apps.
Oh, and most important, I have email, contacts and calendar synced with our corporate Exchange server (Uhm, yes dear, this is a business tool).

im VERY not geeky..i was a nokia girl...the iphone was a bit of a culture shock. I had NO idea how to set it up...6 hours of my saturday later..i have the basics, although aol is loaded, the email sending is cranky...can receive & read ok though. Managed to post this here which surprised me !
Have downloaded from itunes all my fav's...fiddled with the camera...tied to get MSN messenger to no avail?
Sooooo cant wait for SL to run something on it....not sure whut else to do with it now lol
The idea of unlimited web access won me over...and the itunes...i never owned an ipod, so its all a bit fabulous for me right now. Im still baffled at how it works really...can connect to the net anywhere, in any country...woot..

By charging you a HUGE AMOUNT OF MONEY No, really. Don't let your iPhone roam unless you really know how much it costs or have money to burn

I'll probably stick with the Touch for a while longer. I can get free wifi in enough places (including Starbucks and McD's via my AT&T DSL plan) and don't travel around enough to have Internet anywhere as a big appeal. Plus, with a company paid cellphone, well...
