By NOT allowing anyone to join them if there not verifyed .. currently for some reason my avatar is not receive any payments from supposed winning by these sploders . How is this legal!!!!! i cannot beleve Linden labs would allow this website to run legally , clearing they are tracking SL keys and IP address's from the website and not allowing some people to receive there earnings

As long as it does not involve paying in to potentially receive a prize, or breaks any other ToS, I am sure that LL don't really care _what_ the system does.

"every body wins" = gambling as it involves random numbers

I think that these types of games fall into 2 categories -
Those games LL has decided are most definitely banned in order to comply with the new US law. And ... Those games they will be banning once further clarification of that law comes about in upcoming months. ------------------------ This is basically true for any game with a pay in and a pay out. Skill or not. We'll see. But I'd bet money on it - cept not in SL. |

I've been building most of the day and needed a break so I checked out the website and went to a place it referred to. Either my brain is completely fried at this point or it's so complicated I can't figure out what it's talking about. I'm confused what it's offering.

Did you pay to use the exploder?
If so then it's illegal. If not then it's not. Pure and simple. No pay == free giveaway and whatever method used, random or not, registered or not, is perfectly legal. |

if you pay doesn't make it illegal
IF you HAVE to pay, then it is illegal it states that a game is considered illegal if it meets specific requirements, one of those being that you have to pay to win so, for example, if I had a pot sitting at my store, that gives out X l's at specific times, even if those folks are random, AND do not have to pay to be eligible to win, then it is legal, EVEN IF they CAN pay in to increase the pot IF THEY want to. the catch is that they say you do not have to pay to win, but you have to register or whatever (did not check out the page) so saying that it is illegal just because you pay in is incorrect, it is only if you HAVE to pay to win _____________________

When you pay a Tmy sploder ittells you you donot have to pay to win lindens. These are sponsored sploders. The Sponsors are SL Business owners that want their ads spammed to the people touching the sploder. Perfectly legal.
At the last Governance meeting a Linden said thatthe 'last-person-to-pay-wins-the-most' sploder was illegal if it did not display the names of the people entering. The Avalanche does just that - but there are a few out there that do not show the names of the people that enetered- therefore they are illegal. _____________________

I'll make this short and sweet.. Verification was placed in because people decided it would be nice to use alts in the same Xploder, This is a form of exploitation of the fact you can enter for free, owners can choose different levels from no verification to 1 or 2 per household (for husband / wife pairs).
I am in no way forcing your hand to register, You want free Linden you should expect some comprimise... The Xploder is 100% legal and has been reviewed by Linden Lab, additionally the reference to "everybody wins" as gambling is incorrect [Everyone Wins] Everyone wins a fairly even share of the pot. [High Rollers] Few people win, but they win a lot [Mixed Mode] A mix of the 2 modes mentioned before, For half of the pot's money goes to High rollers, and the rest goes to 'everyone wins' This means that everyone should win something but some win more than others. Bradley, I'll work on making the site a little clearer! Thanks for the feedback. |

If you don't like the Verification system don't register to Xploders that require verification. Noone is FORCING you to do anything. If you don't like it, DON'T verify. Go to Xploders that don't require verification or find other ways to get free lindens.
If your avatar is not recieving payment it is because you were trying to enter an Xploder that the owner, who is giving away the free money, set to their liking of 1 or 2 per household only. There is TEXT above the Xploder that states the verification level of that Xploder. If you try to exploit one with specific settings, you will not be paid. Xploder owners give away FREE money. Some don't like to give away FREE money to Zombies(alt avatars) that do nothing or households with more than 1 or 2 users and other Xploder owners don't mind. The tracker HUD shows which Xploders use the verification system and how many avatars per household is allowed as well. Also, some LL problems will cause members not to receive your free Lindens. It is not the Xploder owners fault or our fault. SL hiccups and glitches happen. |

THanks for the Info Lias ![]() "every body wins" = gambling as it involves random numbers Everybody Wins Mode means everyone will get some of the free lindens in the pot. Entry is completely free . |

I have a legal 'popper' it uses voting instead of a random number to select a winner. Everyone pays and then votes on who receives the money.
