Hi this may be a silly question but if i am looking to buy land and build a house with my partner. Would we need to set ourselves as a group to be able to have joint ownership and rights on the land and builds?

just be sure u want to share land incase u want to make him an owner aswell or officer as the 2nd party can run off with the land in that case
