Dear forum dwellers,
I've come across a strange problem I think (or alternatively more evidence of my haircolour being accurate) .... I can't seem to delete a pick from my profile. It seems easy .... just select the pick and press delete, right? Except it doesn't delete :o
Anyone any ideas, or is this a new feature?

Not being able to delete is not a new feature. things arent working well tonight. Did you do the ole clear cache relog trick?

Well maybe they are just trying to make sure every single feature in SL has been borked at least once. Tonight, it's profile picks.

Did you click on "accept" before closing the profile?

I believe the word there is accept or something similar to it.

Edit: installed new Nic viewer and it finally worked.

As to why? I'll have pie thanks

Yup, clicked every okay possible. It's even stranger because the pick in question does disappear, but then when I go back into my picks, it's back. Freaky :o

Darn you solved it already, I was going to ask if you were sure it was Your profile you had clicked  .

Oh whilst on profiles. There is a potential exploit you may not have heard of, if you enable Auto Open in the Web Tab of profiles and or Except cookies in the Web Tab in Preferences, you could become infected with something nasty. Ever noticed how with some peoples profiles, when you open them, music begins to play, even before you click the Web Tab? That's 'background music' function code inserted into the webpage, this could potentially (even without a music track involved that you can hear) download automatically, maleware onto your system.
