I have lost around 1000 items from my inventory this weekend with all the crash and burn activity going on. I have noticed that each time i relog i seem to get a few more back.
Has anyone else suffered this in the last 2 days and can someone HELP ME with this please?
Any advice or help would be much appreciated. Of course it's only the great items that are missing, all the crappy ones are still there!!

Guess i might as well start with the obvious: clear cache, relog ... repeat several times. It's worked for me in the past :)

Additionally to Sally's post:

Relog in a quiet sim. One of the Linden water sims that connect the two Mainland masses is my favorites. Also, if you can log in before there are 35,000 people online, helps too. After that, the database starts to pant and moan and sweat and jsut petter out. Eventually LL ~might~ realise this and change something *Grins*

Once you get in and rezzed, open your inventory window, go to the search field and jsut hit BACKSPACE. This institues a queary to the database and loads your inventory. The more you have, the longer this takes.

Aside from the changing numbers, you can tell that you're still loading inventory by the "..." after the number of items. So an inventory in progress would look like (8,954...) while one that was complete would look like (15,452).

Good luck

Dude, you are a true and good friend, and I love you like the brother that my mom claims she never had, but you are in fact acting like a flaming douche on white toast with a side order of dickknob salsa..maybe you should reconsider this course of action and we go find something else to do.
