Hi all 2 days ago i purchased a item on xstreet for L$1600 and recived a blank prim created by the seller and renamed as the object he was selling, this was a obvious scam i figured ,but sent him a polite message informing him of the problem and asking for a refund, i also filed a ticket to LL informing them of what this avator was doing and for them to look into it , TWO days later i still have a new ticket that no one has bothered to look at and i guess the seller is still up to hes scam making L$1600 each time he succeeds, its not a huge amount of money to myslef but how long willl LL allow him to get away with this scam and how do i prove i was sent a blank prim when or if LL finally get around to looking at my ticket

if any of you can send me a Lindens name who deals with fraud that woudl be great also any advice woudl be great

Are you sure it wasn't just the box? Did you look at contents? I have purchased items from some people that don't care about the packaging at all.

As for how long? Are you a paid member? Or do you have a free account?

OK if there are no contents that's another story.. Has the merchant responded at all?

If the merchant isn't responding and you are on a free account it could take quite some time to get it resolved. Sorry

Well if the box is definitely empty you should leave a review saying that.

Doesn't SLX have its own complaints system?

I think you can review the seller though, even if that particular item is no longer available? Unless the seller has disappeared also?

You can review / rate as long as the listing exists.

LL never (well, probably rarely and with valuable accounts) gets involved in user disputes unless they legally are required to (court order, content takedown notice, etc).

As to how to get their attention ... well, let us know if you figure that one out.
