Something that's been bugging me for a while now, but I've just never got around to looking into what's going wrong..
My AO is a Franimation one that I put together myself with various amimations I bought. The script, notecard and animations all live in my bracelet that I wear all the time.
The problem is that everything works fine until I stumble over a step or bit of uneven ground, then my casual walk reverts to the horrid default walk, until I stop, then I start walking casually again.
Anyone know what could be happening here, and more importantly, how I can fix it?

I have dealt with this off and on for a year at least. I have no idea what causes it or how to overcome it ... but not every animation does it. I recently upgraded to the big ol' pricey Vista set and it hasn't done it yet.

This is because sometimes SL starts the walk animation up again and Franimation (and franimation-derived AOs like Zhao) doesn't notice. I have a version of Franimation 1.6 somewhere I modded to detect when you'd started "stealth duckwalking" but I'll have to dig around for it.

It also depends on the priority of the animations. If you're using a walk animation that is higher priority than the standard Linden walk, and doesn't leave any joints out, then it doesn't matter if the Linden walk starts. Which is probably why AOs don't generally bother to kill the walk between state changes.
PS: there's no difference to animations between an attachment on a HUD and an attachment anywhere else. I generally use a recent version of Franimation, but in a HUD, myself.
