Might not mean alot to many, but we had a problem with a Linden tree planted in between the road and our building. It kept going into the bldg, so I emailed Michael and he came immediately and moved the tree. I mean...immediately!!! Thank you Michael !!! We hear so much negative...I thought I'd pass along a positive.

The vast majority of times I've dealt with Lindens, they've been great. Not always (some have really REALLY annoyed me) but nearly.

Very cool. There was a time when Lindens were active on the forums, and there was a dedicated subforum just for requesting fixes like yours. I'm pleasantly surprised that it's still possible for matters like this to get personal (and timely!) attention :)

Indeed, I believe that many in SL could relate tales of quick and welcome in-person responses from Lindens.

Even with all the various and sundry problems inworld that many of us have experienced, it's good to refresh our awareness that quite a few people who work for Linden Lab are genuinely emotionally invested in this great product, and are therefore inclined to bend all efforts to make the SL experience as excellent as it possibly can be.

Individually, I've had great experiences with every Linden I've met, save for one (or possibly two, if I count former Lindens). An it's not surprise to anyone that I deal with a lot of Lindens.

On an individual level, I've always found the Lindens to be *very* good (except one - and he wasn't unpleasant - just aloof).

Michael is an original Linden and along with Jeff & Lee has always been the most helpful.

Michael Linden is cool. He said the boat I built was nice. :)

All of the Lindens I've had any contact with in-world have been awesome.

I forget the name of the first Linden I met, but I remember very clearly it was at a musical-instruments store, and she was looking for an item called a biwa, which I helped her find.

Yes, we hear a lot of negatives, but keep in mind when most of us refer to "Lindens" we're talking the company, not the individuals. On an individual basis, I have found the Lindens to be great people, personable and willing to help out on reasonable issues. Hearing stories of the individual Lindens remind us that they do care on that same level.

Dispite Teagan's creepy robot-ness, she was awesome. I even joined her fan club. :) She was out there in a jiff, walked me through my issue, and told me how to fix it if it ever happened again.
She was a busy girl too...seemed like she was talking to a bunch of people at the same time. :)

Okay - you guys are making me feel old. I think of Teenage Werewolf and Bonanza when I think of Michael L.

I think I've only met one Linden (that I am aware of - I mean how would we know?) and that was in a group dance. Lots of fun.
