Odd SL error messages

Hi there,

Odd messages have started repeatedly appearing on my SL screen. They all refer to the "server experiencing unexpected difficulties". There are about 5 separate messages and they appear in close succession. All are similar, it's just the numbers on them that differ (sample below)

"Unable to upload 48d46934-e378-1e8c-bb7d-2a512a77510a due to the following reason: The server is experiencing unexpected difficulties. Please try again later."

When they show up my avatar slows or stops but when i click the messages off things go back to normal. It happens a lot but particularly when i arrive at a new sim or am moving around an area.

In an attempt to fix this i have cleaned out my cache, tried logging in when my virus checker is off, updated IE and reinstalled SL. None have helped.

Please let me know if you have a remedy because it is driving me crazy!!!!!

That is an odd one! I take it you are not knowingly trying to upload anything?

It is a message that is displayed when an attempt to upload a texture or animation fails because of a problem at the server end.

Supposedly it will be gone after the rolling restart finishes today. If it's still there tomorrow, that would be the bug to reopen :/

it does appear that my issue is the same as shown on the link you provided.

for what it is worth, i added my description of the problem to the thread on that site just in case my bug was somehow buggier or different to the examples listed.

good to know a fix is on the way. i am officially no longer going crazy over this.
