Hello everyone ^^
I recently started to notice that ejecting and banning people on a sim isn't the same as it used to be. If you own a sim and tried this, I'm sure you know what I mean. Basically let's say you need people out of the sim while you redecorate, and you eject them. Suddenly, they arn't ejected but actually in the CORNER of the sim. OK... well, that didn't work, let's try eject and ban....so I try that, ooopp... look at that, they are BOUNCING on TOP of the sim. >.< Ok...so that didn't work.
The only thing I found that works (and is annoying), is using estate ban.
Anyone notice this and if so, is there a solution to this problem? It doesn't help not being able to actually eject someone if needbe if it doesn't actually eject them and let's them stay within the sim bouncing away.
Thank you!

Also even though a sim is closed to the public they still seem to pop in with no problems. Takes some good fiddling with the estate to keep em out.

You might snag some scripted gadget that uses llTeleportAgentHome so that you can ejectt the avatars for real. Or, if the situation has become really frustrating, skip that, turn on damage, and go hunting.

It's always happened that way as far as I know. If you eject someone from a parcel, and the parcel is the entire sim, and there's no attached sim for them to get pushed into, they get stuck in the corner.

Yup, that's the way it has always worked, for as long as I can remember, anyway.
Like Argent says, ejection on an isolated sim just throws them violently in the corner. It's primarily meant for parcel usage, but gets weird when the parcel is the whole sim.
I don't think it will even eject them into an adjacent sim.
Pretty much, you have to use estate bans and scripted security systems which can use llTeleportAgentHome().

Hmm.. I believe I did eject someone with a sim nearby, right next door, and they were just bouncing about 700m up or so... >.< I'll have to try the script thing.

Have you tried the Teleport Home One User and Teleport Home All Users buttons on the Estate Tools?
