Hi Been testing with deeded land and group roles. How do I set up my land so that the group officers cannot accidentally return the group owner's objects? I have set the land options so that only group members can rez objects, and autoreturn is set to 1. Eventually I would like the officers to be able to clean up and return objects left behind by old tenants. But giving them the role "return objects set to group" is a little risky, especially if they could accidentally return my rental boxes.
Thanks
Perfect.

For our rentals, that's how we do it. The estate managers have return permissions, and with this they get a different "object" summary in the About Land window. Meaning, they have a list of the owners of all objects on the parcel, and can return only those that don't belong. Those without return permissions will only see a total, not owner names.
P.S. mine doesn't come up automatically in About Land; I have to click refresh on the Objects tab for the list, and highlight the individual whose stuff I want to return.

Thanks for the reply. So, strictly speaking, the Estate Managers could return ANYTHING on the parcel. Even accidentally returning objects belonging to the Group Owner? ie. the homes themselves? There's no way around this?

From: someone But giving them the role "return objects set to group" is a little risky, especially if they could accidentally return my rental boxes. Most rentboxes will not be affected by a return and re-rezz (atleast mine dont), although a large number of my renters has the ability to return them, this hardly ever happens. Must be said, i only do land rentals, so the rentbox is the only prim on the parcel owned by me, and always has a unique easy to trace name related to the group & location. *if its not the only prim on the parcel, you risk a "bundled" return which could have any name, and this would not be adviseable. .
