How many L$ are there inworld

Just wondering out of curiousity really,.. Is there anyway we can see how much L$ there are inWorld? I tried looking for it in the Economic Statistics but I couldnt find it. Anyone any idea?

Good question. This actually brings to mind something I've wondered about for a while: does LL properly account for all the Lindens? Keep proper "books" and all that, capturing every transaction and recording it? Or does stuff just happen and they have no real idea of what's going where, unless they spot check. If I pay a box, does that transaction get recorded in a database until the end of time? At all?

Every L$ transaction gets a transaction number. If they keep them forever, I don't know. We only have access to them for 30 days.
