Hello,
I heard that the Sim-Owner where i run my Mall is banned from SL now. Now I need to know how to go on with this, without loosing the land.
Sim is Miami Island, Owner Johnson Fraina
Thanks for your replies in advance

Can you still access the sim yourself?

nothing can be done
if he/she stops paying the bill to LL, the island will be reclaimed by them and recycled

It would depend a lot on whether they were banned for life or merely suspended.
If just suspended, they can keep paying their tier and come back when their suspension is over.
If they are banned for life, then at some point LL will reclaim the sim and put it up for resale. If that happens, you could well lose out on land value. Usually, if a sim is closed because the owner defaulted on payment and isn't coming back, or if LL forces closure of a sim for other reasons, LL will allow residents of that sim access to at least get their things back.
If you can't tell what is going on, I would back up what you can, and pull all your no-transfer content when you are off-line. Then if you do come on-line and find the sim is "gone" you still have your stuff.

you could send in a ticket for what it`s worth to ask for some clarification of what is going on, specially if perma banned
don`t hold your breath tho

He still shows up in search so not likely to be suspended/banned.

Maybe he's just shagged out after a prolonged squawk.

If the sim owner really _is_ banned from SL - sell, quickly, to some poor soul, and move out.

From: Hegucima Gausman That's what i like to know,. where to find out if he's really banned You can't. LL won't tell you. If an account is banned or deleted, I believe they don't show up in search. If they are only suspended, they still do show up. But given that I know I can search (new search) for some of my alts that are in no way suspended or deleted, and can come up empty on the new search, I wouldn't bank on that as an indicator.
