Was curious if anyone else was having this problem or if it's just something I've done wrong. I've been making new content for my store and every prim piece I make only wants to attach to my right hand....
On a similar note it seems that you can't change the attachment point on anything. Anyone else having this problem or have a way around it?

Right hand is the default attachment point of a newly created prim. If you want to attach it to a new point, instead of choosing wear, choose Attach, and pick the new point from the list provided. This is quite normal.

Are you using Dazzle or the 1.19.1 Release Candidate viewer? I've heard this is a known bug in those. Edit: Here's the JIRA issue: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-5087

On a similar note it seems that you can't change the attachment point on anything. Anyone else having this problem or have a way around it? if you are using the 1.19.1 RC viewer or Dazzle there is a bug, that no matter where you specify to attach something, it will go back to the last attachment spot, and on newly attached items the default is right hand, so ends up going there. If you are not using either of those clients, you need to specify where you want to attach something right click, attach, then choose attachment point then detach and reattach to save the attachment location

yes, I just spotted that, I guess i should start in technical issues first. I tried the RC briefly but I'm sticking to 1.18 until i have no choice, their fixes are worse than the problems.

What a pain in the arse. I've just spent half an hour slaving away on something (and I am rubbish at fiddling around with prims) only to find this right hand only nonsense preventing me from completing the task. Risible.

I have this problem as well with some shoes I made... I found dropping them on the ground and attaching them via the Pie chart helped me.. maybe that might help you?

I must be missing something important, because if I drop my prim skirt I just made, I can not attach it to the "pelvis" point. If i drop it the "pelvis" is not an option.. Now, strangely enough I had a friend "without" the update test it and hers worked fine. This is not good.

Not a big umm Skirt wearer but have you tried dropping it anyway and then attaching it to say your stomach or spine then editing it to the right position? After you can detach and click wear and it should re attach to the same spot.....

Again, it's a known bug in some of the recent viewer releases. Prior versions aren't affected.
