Man, this just isn't my day at all... A neighbor has put strobbing lights on their property and the strobes are coming through the walls. Sitting at the pond to watch the night sky is ruined now too. Is there any way I can stop the lights from my side? I already sent the lady an IM about it, no joy : igh::

There is no good way of hiding it. Just keep IMing the owner of the lights until they see the light. If all else fails you can abuse report them because they are indeed violating the ToS.

Are these prims, particles, or actual light?
If prims, and they are coming over into your land, you can AR them for parcel encroachment. Results vary on this type of AR, so if it doesn't get dealt with in a week or so, try filing a support ticket instead.
If particles, and if you don't need particles on for another reason, you can hide the particles.
If light, and if you don't need lights on for your own purposes, you can turn local lights off in the preferences. If you DO need lights on, you might try flooding your area with the maximum 6 lights. That way, their lights that are farther away won't show.

AR fails, put an 10x10 prim, alpha ur side, set it full bright with an brick texture and then set 20m lighting and drag it to make an wall
mainland, gotta love it... playing nice there is like trying to teach an monkey rocket science in most cases
