Help me pay my bill :(

I was to pay my fees to LL this month on 01/08/2007, however my US Dollar Balance is show as -$25.

Please tell me how I can correct this I don't want to loose my land!

Can I just purchase 25 worth of L$ and transfer it or something or what do I need to do... I have had no previous issues with this type of thing :(

LL seems to be having problems with credit card info...again. Make sure you sign into your account and re-input your cc information. After that is done and your account shows that it was succesful, click on Increase Credit. That way you can manually charge your cc for the $25 you owe LL.

I think if land tier is due and you have no money in your account they withdrawl it from your RL bank account.

But yes, you could also buy lindens, then sell it for USD to get rid of the negative #.

Someone correct me if im wrong.

Try deleting your payment info, then re-entering that info. It worked for me.

You can go into your account on secondlife.com and add to your US$ balance. Add at least $25. That $25 will be used to cover your negative balance. Or, you can submit a ticket through the online help (assuming it's working) and tell them to bill your usual billing method. One time I had to even go through the live online chat to get it straightened out. Probably the best thing to try first is adding $25 to your US$ balance. This will let you know if there is a problem with your current billing information, or if your credit card company has put a stop on payments to LL. Don't Panic! You've got some time before they will reclaim your land, but start taking the steps I've given you here today so they know you are trying.

Jesseaitui, you are right.....

Look on your account page and check.....

And in the charges or somewhere there it will say that all charges incurred will first come from your US Dollar account and any others when that balance is zero will aurtomatically be debited to your card or Paypal.

Its the same in game, if you don't have enough money to purchase a screen will tell you and say that you are increasing your balance if you accept..

It is all automated so do not make any more payments unless you want money to exchange our make a purchase..

And it may take a day or 2 to show zero as the payment has only been authorised by the card company and LL has not received it.

Oh dear now I am totally lost :(

I paid $40US into my account, it went no worries, now my US balance shows 0.00 and I have 10,000+ L$?

So did I jump the gun and pay extra when I had no need to?

Is this 10000 available now for in game stuff, or will it be debitted out.

Sorry but I am so confused LOL

Had the exact same thing happen to me.

Live chat help told me that cc companies sometimes decline charges from SL. o_O
Even though SL has always charged my cc with no problems thats what I was told.
I checked with my cc company and they said they have never declined any charges.

I later re submitted my info, took about 3 days for my balance to go 0.
Bottom line, it was an issue with LL. :(

are you looking for an answer on your question, cause I'm a bit confused that if you only increased you US balance why have you got lindens as the 2 transactions are totally separate unless you went to the wrong page, the buyL$ page which you should only do if you want 10000 L$.....

Yeah I think I did go to the wrong thing, I bought 10000, I was thinking I could then change these into US$ and cancel my minus...

But know I don't have a minus and an extra 10G I just have no idea what is going on???

You never had a minus to start with...........in theory....its called automation between LL and the banks.

Lets make this real clear!

When you authorise someone to use your credit card(not sure about Paypal but most probably similar) and say today your US Balance was $10.00 and LL charges you $20.00 then your account balance will be -$10.00..

When paying with your cc Linden Labs only get an Authorisation number that tells them that the transaction is ok..and not the money, unfortunately that is the process..

Depending on the clearing house that Linden uses it could take 3-5 working days for them to recieve the money.. after that then your account will be zero...

I am sure that somebody reading this post who's credit card has been declined will tell you he/she received and email to notify him/her, then his balance would be in the minus as well.

But before LL can take any action against you they have a duty to notify you first...........

So, don't top your account up if its in the minus and you haven't received any notification informing you of a credit card problem........

I had my credit card foul up for some reason . And they never took balance just said said neg x amount.
