I am just wondering.....Will Linden Labs call me or send me anything in the mail? I do not like that stuff.....

The current process of identity thef..... age verification is still in beta and doesn't actually work. To date, I've NEVER found a parcel that requires age verification. To date, I refuse to verify. (=_=)y

They want me to send some form of ID. And I don't send my ID to anyone who has not anything to do with law officials. Linden Labs might even resell that information, because the "agreement" doesn't cover this.

There are other ways of telling I'm 18+

I tried age verification but I'm based in Britain and you have to say which state of USA you come from on the form!

Even for those who jumped through the hoops and Verified their avatars, Age verification on parcels is a sick joke. It only protects to 50 M above the terrain surface, and does nothing to prevent camming in, or other types of intrusion.

And it often doesn't work right in either direction - disallowing people who ARE verified, and allowing some who are NOT.

All this also says nothing about the lack of validity in the verification process itself. You could probably verify your dog, and some people have claimed they sent in publicly available info about some celebrity and it got accepted.

Age Verification, as implemented, is worthless.
