Is anyone else having this problem? Vendor prims that are set to buy contents on click and functioning properly are going to no for sale settings by themselves.

Which vendor are you using? Which script are you using? Are they networked vendors?

Not a commercial vendor, no script. Simply a flat cube with a poster on it set to sell contents and buy on click in the prim editor.

I've had that happen to me many times, Sylvia. No rhyme or reason to it, just every now and then a box will forget it has contents for sale. I haven't noticed it recently though.

The ony thing I can think of is that I took copies of the prims, but the same thing has happened to prims that have not had copies taken. Not a big deal, I just wondered if it happened to others and if there was a way to prevent it. |

I've had half a wall of 'simple prim' vendos do this about a month ago, lucky a customer notified me about it.
Guess they need to be checked regularily. ![]() _____________________

Sylvia, I just found this issue in JIRA: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-3056 Is this what you're seeing? Thanks for checking the Jira. This is not quite what I am talking about, tho. I am not rezzing anything. The rezzed prim set to sell contents is rezzed in my store, has been for days, or weeks or months without being touched by me. One day it is working. Then next day a customer tells me they couldn't buy the item they wanted. I check the prim in the prim editor and sure enough it is no longer set for sale. |

Taking a copy always does it. Only the new copy will be set for sale. The original prim has to be set for sale again.

Isobel I tested this after seeing Chip's post. The taking a copy option from the pie menu did NOT affect the for sell settings on the original when I tried it. |

I noticed this last week, and i think the problem happen recently with all the problems SL had. Particularly scripted objects for sale. I was lucky I was putting out a new build so the next day I was just quickly rechecking, I put about 20 items out 'click to buy', the next day two that where freebies (L$0) had reverted to their original owner and of course wasn't available to buy or for that matter anything else, i had to delete and place them again.
On a neighbours land I was clicking his prim boxes and three were 'blank' although previously they had been set 'to buy'. I have also noticed this travelling around SL, the number of boxes I click on now that don't do anything seems have risen. I really suggest that everyone should double check their stuff, maybe only one or two boxes though that might be corrupted. _____________________

I just checked again today, three objects changed permissions, one even had a new owner, which I had to delete and but a new copy out.
