Is it possible to listen on all chat channels?

LSL scanners are not useful because the channel number isn't predictable. It's certainly not between -5000 and +5000. So I am wondering if a debug setting exists which dumps all nearby chat, regardless of channel, onto the screen?

Hi Robot! Only 0 and 2147483647 go to the clients. You have to be a Linden or make a scan script for all the other channels. There are 4.3 billion channels. One script can hear 65 channels at the same time. You will need many scripts and much time!

We do not have strike out here? I typed channel 1 but it is 0.

Thanks Cerise! That would take a long time! lol. It took long enough to rule out -5000 to +5000. I will now IM the content creator whose lights I wish to automate with a script. They aren't part of a link set so can only be receiving on/off messages from the controller prim via a hidden channel. I didn't want to bother them before getting this question answered in case they already receive lots of daily IMs.

Don't send an IM. Send a notecard
