Hacked or glitch?

Today I was in a store just sitting while waiting for a lucky board. Suddenly half my attachments disappeared and just about every set of wings I own that are in my 'wing' file started attaching and detaching, as if I had right clicked the file and selected 'add to outfit'. I jumped up pretty quick and tp'ed home trying to figure out what was going on. Next thing I know my shape changed, my skin changed, a skirt appeared on my av, and I don't even know WHAT else. Like things were randomly being worn.

I have NEVER seen an SL glitch like this before, nor have I heard of one. A few things that might be need to know:
1) I had just put on a group gift that attached to my chest (I wouldn't think there was some script to do this since it was a group gift from a fairly well known store)
2) I just just moved the object from my 'object' folder to another folder. Thought here being that perhaps I accidentally selected 'add to outfit' somehow on one of my folders?
3) I had not recently (nor ever really) accepted something from a stranger or clicked a 'yes to animate' or whatever menu except from my hubby who would have fessed up if he was involved somehow.

So all that being said, can anyone offer up a suggestion or explanation? I'm rather confused and understandably worried.

Thanks.

hrm The only time I have seen that is when you have dragged folders onto yourself.

Foehn, maybe I did that on accident. I'm trying to remember if there was any lag or anything at the time I moved the object that might have possibly made me drag my entire 'my inventory' file onto myself or something.

Yup....my guess would be you accidentally dragged a folder onto yourself......but maybe take off that group gift...juuuust in case. I can't imagine what kind of griefer nastiness could cause all that......it's one thing to cause things to happen externally.....like animations or farting (yup, I have a gadget that can make another avatar appear to fart, hehehehe I never use it tho.....holding out for a griefer on my land for that one!)

Anyway.....I don't see how any gadget could effect things between your avatar and inventory. I'd relog into a different region and start over LOL

When my friend was new, they drug a folder of many items on themselves. We had teleported to a very laggy sim and the things attaching, wearing, replacing was an odd and very funny morphing exp to view, them walking behind me. o.0

Hmmmmmmm!

This could be the start of a Morphing craze.

Not all of 'My Inventory' - just a folder with subfolders of interesting things.

That's *exactly* what it sounds like

I shall assume then that I just dragged a folder onto my self on accident then and hope that is what it was. As Milla said, I can't see how it could be any other thing unless I was using that rlv client which..yeano. lol Thanks all for your reassurance. Hopefully it doesn't happen again and if it does...yikes.
