I am looking for a good mermaid RP sim. I have found mertopia and aquaria but they seem to never have anyone in them. I have also found several mermaid hangouts but they really are not RP but just places for people with mermaid avas to see and be seen.
To me a good mermaid RP sim does not have to be exclusively water. It can be a medieval or fantasy RP sim with water areas designed for mermaids.
Does anyone know of any good sims that has a decent mermaid population to RP in?

What about looking around for some Mermaid groups and asking if the owners
of group do roleplaying?

They are one of SL's greatest myths. |

There was a RP sim that was part water and part land with a very organized mer community at Ravenscraig, but I just checked and it is gone. Anyone know if it still exists somewhere else?

Nope, no mermaids in SL. It's only a rumour   In all seriousness, last I checked Aquaria had a fairly active RP community, although I really haven't had time to go play there in ages. Still, definitely worth swimming by a second time! It might be a time of day thing, as I believe most of them live in the US. You might want to shout at Solan Nightfire (the sim owner) and get subscribed to the Aquaria group, they routinely send out event notifications.
