If you're using one of the newest viewers and have chat history turned on, you might find the SLURL in your log. Other than that, SL doesn't have a real built-in history yet. there are also some scripts around that will remember you last few teleports. The popular Mystitool HUD has a passable one, but there are better freebie equivalents around.

You could try describing the place here and see if someone recognizes it.

This has worked in the past from tiny scraps of information I wouldn't have thought could possibly have resulted in a place id.

If you took a snapshot I think you will have the location in the snapshot description.

How did you happen to find the place?

I was looking to find some peaceful place to relax and stare at the stars

Anyway, this place was just a tiny island...it was night and there was this wooden raft floating around with a couple of pillows and i could lie down and stare at the sky...

I dont think anyone can find this place with this information hehe

Anyway, if you do know anyother calm peaceful places lemme know.

SL is full of peaceful places. Here's one I'm fond of:

Eldamar, Eldamar (141, 31, 22)
It's Tolkien oriented, but even if you're not into that, it's a beautiful forest and does have some boardwalks reaching into a channel between islands. The surrounding sims are very nice too. My alt uses the area for horseback riding.

For future reference, try to get in the habit of creating a landmark for places you find very interesting. It is under the World menu at the top of the screen, Create Landmark Here.
