My daughter tried to sign up for a second life account yesterday and they still have not sent her the activation. There is no issue with SPAM filters or anything.
Any idea what we can do? There appears to be no way to contact anyone about this problem.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Is she using a free email account? SL emails don't seem to get along with some of them.

If she used a hotmail account I know SL and Hotmail do not seem to gel! lol
If she sets up a yahoo email addy I have found the links arrive in seconds.

She uses yahoo. But we keep checking and there is nothing. And I don't know how to contact anyone. She can't sign in because it doesn't recognize her username.
I mean I can set up a POP mail account for her but then she'll have to re-sign up. I don't want SL to think she's trying to have more than one account.
Ugh. What do do?

Ugh. What do do? More than one account is not a bad thing for SL. No punishment, no fees, nothing, so don't worry about that. If you're not getting the activation link, I suggest trying a second signup, with the same email addy. If for some reason it still doesn't work, try another email service.

I would go with what Kiera said, it may of been that the site was having issues at that exact time of sign-up. Annoying I know

If your sure it's not in the spam, then I suggest maybe calling them.
"If you have a non-technical issue with your account, you can also call our Billing team at:
Toll-free (US/Canada) 800-294-1067 or Long-distance (not free) 703-286-6277.
They are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week."

Okay, maybe I'll give them a call. I couldn't seem to find a number so I appreciate that.
In regards to the topic of having more than one account. I thought that was a "no no" unless you paid $9.95 additional.
Or is that just for people who are having TONS of alts?

They no longer charge for alts. The website is out of date.

I don't know if they still mention the fee so that they can reserve the right to charge those who abuse it, (I hope so). For the time being, don't worry, alts are free.

Calla Nope, thats an old rule. Now you can have unlimited, for no extra charge at all.
