Why Use "Invisible" Mode
Obviously anyone following a thread here can see people are trying to remain "Invisible" .. But to anyone who folows a post it is blatant thay have chose "Invisible" mode in the forum CP.
Just wondering why ?

My system is on 24/7 doing updates and scans in the middle of the night.
I usually have about 5 tabs open in addition to working on one or two programs and I rarely close the tabs or shut down Firefox. Revealing my status would reflect that I am on every minute of every day even when I am across town. Those are my reasons. Like wanting to be able to go invisible while in world, there are likely many more. _____________________
My interest in SL has simply died. Thanks for all the laughs

If I look like a Forum junky, well there are worse things in life. You have to go into the "User CP" and check " I Try To Hide" .. box .. Does'nt happen by default . My Pooter is on 24/7 .. just not logged into SL. - Racal |

I set up my account shortly after I first came to SL and promptly forgot about the settings. I just went to see what they were and found I've been a forum ghost for over 4 years.

I'm not actually logged into SL (inworld) 24/7, but I am pretty much always logged into the website and forums. Same here. Lately I've been in world very rare but have been too busy. I have soooo many projects to finish. _____________________

How can you tell someone's invisible? Do you have to try to find them? Do you see their gray facelights in the Windlight threads? (^_^)
