Windermere is currently being filled by self replicating prims that fly about asking to animate one's avatar until pretty much nothing else will open up (took me several minutes to abuse report). The worst part about these is that the OBJECT NAME changes to the names of innocent parties just standing around in the sim. PLEASE make sure when you abuse report these objects that you are reporting the name of the owner and not the name of the object as the name of the object will be an avatar name.
Where does one post warnings like this these days??!! Where does one get help when one is drowning in self-replicating prims? One used to be able to contact live help but now it's just wait till the sim(s) all crash and someone notices a filed report? How does it work? Can anyone tell me?

I submitted a support ticket pointing them at this thread.
Support Tickets can be found at support.secondlife.com if and only if you are a monthly paying customer. This was the first ticket I've ever submitted; I'm not positive I got it right.

While I appreciate both the claimed resolution and feedback from LL, I thought I should pass on the proceedural advice that was included in my ticket closure. From: Linden Lab "I-Team Thank you for informing us. The proper personnel have been notified. If you should encounter a similar situation in the future, please file an Abuse Report inworld using Help->Report Abuse... . Filing a support ticket sends the information to the wrong people, which may delay the arrival of assistance and allow the situation to deteriorate. I hope Windmere is okay now.

Orientation Island Public was attacked by this means on Sunday morning, SLT. It was accompanied by a particle storm of pornographic pictures as well.
Since (at least with the RC viewer) a request to animate your avatar takes your cursor priority, it was impossible to take a photo or to file an AR from that location.
I TP'd to another location and AR'd from there.
And yes, the names used by the animation requests are NOT the griefers, but merely innocent bystanders.

Okay, I guess my misgivings about the A.R. sitting around until someone noticed it were inaccurate (or at least in this case). It was quickly dealt with. Thanks Lindens, and thanks Malachi and Lindel for responding to my post. Cheers.

I saw the same thing in my home sim last week... except in my case they were little frogs. I blamed Trout that day... I gues he was innocent and I owe him an apology. .d

I ran into one near Ahern last week. The only way I could get out of it was to teleport away.
