want Prim eyelashes - not dramatic

Does anyone have any suggestions for some prim eyelashes that are not as heavy and full as most of them seem to be? I'm looking for something less dramatic and more natural-maybe just more at the outside corners instead of outlining the entire eye so heavily.

I'd appreciate any suggestions or advice.

Thanks,
Princess Ivory

I use the ones that came with my Celestial Studios Vogue skins pretty much exclusively...with a little tweaking, I think I've gotten a fairly lush-but-natural look. Every other type I've tried made me think, "omg, drag queen in the making!" Someone did also say that Sin Skins has some less obtrusive ones, but I haven't checked them for myself.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

You can edit your prim lashes (and in most cases, you have to, to get them to fit).

Before you start, make a copy of the original, so you have a backup if you mess up.

1. Stand on a posing stand, and turn off any AOs so you and your face stand still.
2. Take off your hair, and put on a plain skin, with no eye makeup. This makes the lashes easier to see.
3. Right click the lashes and select Edit. Check "Edit Linked Parts".
4. Click the individual prim you want to edit. Move it into place, rotate it if needed.
5. You can make the prim (or the whole set, for that matter) smaller and less flashy by Stretching it. You can also position it so that part of the base is inside the eyelid, leaving just the tips visible. If you just want the outer lashes, you can delete the inner prim entirely.

And also, make sure that the default avatar lashes are set to zero. Having both regular and prim lashes can look "too much, darling, too much".

If it's simply that the lash texture is too lush, you'll either have to find a more subtle set of lashes, or retouch the texture in Photoshop, or make your own.

Sin Skins has a line of eyelashes. I use the Portia variety.

I use a Sin Skin now. I will have to go check out what she has for prim lashes, and see what I can mod.

Some of the skins at Last Call have prim eyelashes.

Those are part of the Vogue line I mentioned earlier, made by the Celestial Studios creator. :)
