Hello,

i have a skin and there is always a white/transparent line around the eyelid. It should actually be black. When I re bake my texture it's fine, the transparent line is black and filled like it should be but it always comes back after a minute and I need to keep re baking to get rid of it! Here is the picture!

Top = white transparent lines
Bottom = after re baking

disabeling pallatized textures under renderings doesn't help either. Already tried this ! Also different settings.

I had one stubborn skin that kept doing that, even w/ the little "fix".
I cleared cache, disable pallatized textures, let inventory reload, rebake a few too many times and it stuck.
I think starting with a cleared cache helped for me.

*edit* Just wondering, is this ever going to be fixed, on whose end? Graphics card or SL?

In the current Release Candidate, the problem of palletelized textures has been fixed.

Oh wow Petronilla--i didn't know this was fixed and have kept on working around it :)--great news

Jaqueline-- it sounds like the section on the skin texture that should be black (a weeny bit, top right, for eyelashes) is actually white/tan. I have noticed the same thing happen when playing about with skins...( ie, the rebake fixes it for a second or two, then the white flicks back in again).
