Well, do we?
I have been told we have temperature, wind and barometric pressure.
I think it is possible - in fact, it may even be essential.

Where I live, there's lots of fog. Every time I turn it off, it comes back when I next log on - how do I fix that?

(By the way, SL world seems to turn on its axis about six times faster than Earth. That ought to mean weather is very unstable and rapidly changing, I think. We ought to be seeing a lot more sharp storms)

The SL climate is mild, partially cloudy with persistent lag and missing textures. :D

There is windspeed and direction, but not temperature or pressure.

There is temperature in SL, see here:

Results vary though, as I have seen it 72 degrees in snowland

There is pressure as well.

Hey, it's Arkansas! Seriously, we've finally just hit the 30s during the day time. Two weeks ago, it was 79 degrees.

I like SL's weather, frankly. Doesn't cause my joints or head to ache at all.

Oh wow. I did not know that. How does it affect things in-world - what does temperature actually DO to the SL environment, objects, avatars, cloud cover, etc??

Weather and whatnot was never taken out of the code of Lindenworld when it went into the developing stage to become SL. It's still there, but mostly "blocked off" because it created too much lag.

Wind, rain etc...

Also, avatar movement used to affect windspeed and direction. So you could create a gust of wind as you ran by (without the use of a fart gesture). If you ran in a circle for long enough, you could create a cyclone. Tornado-bots, anyone?
