Using the Emerald viewer, I am getting just a few spikes from avatars that are like the spikes some folks with ATI cards see with VBO enabled, but I'm seeing them with VBO disabled.
If I enable VBO, the whole screen is filled with spikes. If I disable VBO, almost all of the spikes go away, but not all. Most of the time I don't see any, then I'll see one spike shooting out from one avatar.
I've never seen this effect before.
This is with a Radeon x800 using the latest driver from ATI, the final driver for "legacy" cards.
Anyone else see that, or have any ideas on what to do about it?

I see a strange thing like that only when the breast physics are on. It does not always happen, sometimes the breasts turn to streaks and they go down through the ground. It can happen on Nvidia cards so maybe it is not the same VBO problem.

Try disabling the Catalyst AI (or something called like that) in the radeon driver settings. It seems to sometimes mess up VBO stuff or cause spikes.

I have the Catalyst AI turned off all the time. SL crashes with it turned on.
