I'm trying to post a live music event with this as the discription:

FRIENDLY FIRE is a glamtastic power punk pop rock band that’s taking SL by storm! Guitarist Case Munro and bassist MacKenzie Rasmuson are shaking the grid with high energy original rock and roll guaranteed to knock your virtual socks off!"

I tried changing "SL" to "the world" but I still get this:

Please correct the entries highlighted in yellow.
Invalid Event description, please try again.

I don't see and nawty words.

/me wonders if it's ok to say those 2 names in the forum

As bad as the word filtering is, you should try misspelling bassist as basist.

The Event title box can only have so many characters. I always post this in the Event description box:

LIVE MUSIC FRIENDLY FIRE FIRST

For the Sunday event @ Echo Echo;) The body of the event can have many more words, but the Event "title = Description" must be brief.

It's the new "Tastelessness" filter which is in beta.

Pep (Come on: "glamtastic power punk pop rock" must fail that test! :p )

It is the apostrophe, SL events rejects some punctuation.

Argus,

I always us this:

"singers name" in the Park @ Home Expo

and they always take that so I think I'm ok with the title it's something in the event description that kicks back.

I'll remove the punctuation marks like Wrenfair suggests and try again. If that does'nt work I'll tyr live chat.

No, I don't think this is the problem; I never have trouble posting events that name my place, which has an apostrophe in its name.

I have no idea what it might be, though; live chat's probably a good way to go from here. :)

Well, I have to say "glamtastic power punk pop rock band" hurts my brain, so maybe they have an actual AI working on the filtering now.

I guess that "apostrophe" does look a bit nawty and maybe erect.

Maybe Argent has you on ignore Pep. It seems to be the sensible thing to do.

Oh dear. Even having Pep on ignore doesn't keep me from channeling him.

Did you cut and paste from Word? I've sometimes had the same error message after a cut and paste from another program. But if you typed the text directly into Events, then I'm afraid I have no suggestions.
