Hi Folks
Completely new here. Have brougt land and house.
Notice i can lock doors but do not know where to enter the command in order to make it happen
Sorry if it is such a noob question, but got to start somewhere
Thanks for this tip and any others that might be useful to me

Most are just in the chat window such as /6 close windows

You might be able to right click some objects and find a notecard of instructions.
You might be able to ask the person you bought the stuff from for instructions on how to use it.

And do a forum search on locking doors / security. You'll might just find you don't really need to lock them at all.

A LOT of SL houses use a set of doors that will lock via chat commands.
After touching the door to open it (which activates the listen)
say in the general chat window.
Lock
if this works, IM me and I'll send you the full instructions for all the commands.
