kk, I set events everyday. Today however every page at secondlife.com after going from transaction page to events I get a pop up asking if I want to display nonsecure items? Now generally this easily preventable by unchecking the the box in IE tools internet options advanced by unchecking warn when swithching between secure and non-secure modes , however mine is already unchecked. Anyone else?

Also it appears in inventory that I am wearing a template that I am not. Anyone else?

My partner rudy (linked in my profile as my partner) doesn't show on my friends list even when its working which maybe half the time if I am lucky, anyone else?

Traffic has fallen dramatically here at Fhelzgud, even 8, 20 prim pads for the free public yard sale remain oddly empty and maybe its my stuff, cause my sales at all time low, anyone else?

Group chat errors I am still receiving, anyone else?

Lag and short freezes also making life hard, anyone else?

All that and more and the every otherday transactions dissruptions is becoming untenable, watch Fhelzgud it may be up for sale soon.

I'm not getting any popups. Tried doing what you did and I don't see problems. Maybe it's because I'm using firefox.

I have not seen anything in my inventory showing as worn when it isn't. Though I do get errors like 'unable to create object' when I try to attach some basic things like my prim hair or shoes. It usually starts working after a few tries.

The friends list is horrible. The last time I checked it was all question marks for each person listed.

I'm seeing weird traffic in 'about land' at times. Once it showed zero and then a few minutes later it showed 200 plus. So I don't know how that happens.

I am getting some lag, freezes and also crashes. It seems to vary depending on the sim I am in.

Great. Well, at least my grandchildren will get to enjoy both of those fixes.

I didn't get the pop ups when I used Firefox. I then tried IE and got them.

It looks like they must be aware there's a problem--a 404 error is preventing me from posting a test event o.o

I have no idea what adjustments to make in IE. I never use it except to test the web pages I create.

The best adjustment I can suggest is to make the adjustment to Firefox. You'll be glad you did.

It's a security thing. The pages are over HTTPS (secure connection), however the ads in the corner for the land store and headphones and stuff, now for some reason no longer over HTTPS, but rather over normal HTTP (unsecure). So IE warns you of the mixed content. It's annoying to be sure.

For people who usually look for events in a browser instead of in-world, they are MUCH less likely to find your event now. The Category popup on the events page has not worked for almost two weeks. So, it's impossible to browse through a category of events.

I use a Mac and have replicated this on two Macs with Safari and Firefox. A friend tried with a Windows machine and got the same result. (I don't know which browser.)

The problem began at the same time the Events page stopped working for posting events. That problem got fixed, but this one remains.

It's unlikely that anyone will take the time to browse through all events in all categories, which makes the events page useless until someone at LL decides to fix this.

I understand that would set up the warning however since I have disabled that warning in IE options I am perplexed why it still would generate the warning. I did a search on this and a few tech places said web page hoster didn't know what they were doing lol. I have no idea there just a pixalated toon here :-).

Just ran into this on What really happened .com;
Hackers can Hijack PCs With Firefox Add-Ons
Hackers can drop malicious code into systems running Mozilla Corp.'s Firefox when the browser is armed with any of several high-profile add-ons, including Google Toolbar and Yahoo Toolbar, a researcher revealed today. Mozilla has acknowledged the risk posed by some extensions.

just thought I'd let y'all know.

Yeah, I'm getting them too. And for the record, I can't stand Firefox.

I get them in Maxthon only. Not in Netscape or Safari.
