My partner and I have been participating in a hunt the last couple days, and we're finding that when we're teleporting from non-mainland sims, we keep getting disconnected. Further, a lot of landmarks say things like "information not availble until server reset".
Can anyone shed any light on this?

Clear your cache. I get that message sometimes for landmarks and after clearing cache it goes away.

It's been goofy since yesterday, and it's not playing favorites, there is a mix of both mainland and estate regions acting borky intermittently. It's always a mystery why some things do make it to the status blog and others don't, I guess this one doesn't rate a mention because it's more "damn that's annoying" than "holy crap all my assets and L$ are missing and I can't log in any more!".

If it ain't "Second Life Work" you can forget about it I guess. No wonder the engineering talent is vacating LL. |

In this case it's a per-sim issue. I wonder if some sims didn't get touched during the last rolling restart. Yesterday I had to have LL reset one of my sims that had freaked out in this manner. About Land was just showing blank information on most tabs. If you see it happen again, contact the sim owner... it's possible they can fix it by restarting (it wasn't clear if LL did anything special; I contacted them before attempting to restart it myself).

This same thing happened to me and I did not call LL, but restarted my sim first. That fixed the problem. A sim owner apparently just has to restart the sim and that should fix the issue. |
