Hi,

I first made my avatar years ago and i don't know much about computers. I stupidly removed a face tattoo and replaced it with another one, or so I thought. I have ended up with eyeballs that do not align with the rest of my face do there is eyeball-gap-face. I have no idea what to do. apart from that i love my avatar so i would like to keep eye colour, shape, skin colour etc the same.

does anyone know how I can fix my face?

if you need to see a picture tell me how to do it!

Hi Angelleigh

That should be pretty easy to fix up by going in and editing your appearance and looking for parts relating to the head where you can adjust lots of things.

A few days ago, I messed up my entire avatars body and took about 2 hours of RL time editing my appearance to get fixed up. I'm not at a computer with SL installed at the moment, am still new so can't easily talk you through.

There will also be an option to save body shape so you can quickly revert back again after playing around or accidently messing it up.

Good luck :)

The "eyeball-gap-face" thing sounds pretty dramatic, and I'm wondering if it might be one of several unhappy interactions between recent viewer versions and some graphics drivers. Does it look anything like:

If so... perhaps try reverting to an earlier, 1.22 viewer to see if it makes any difference. One link into the snarl of problems is the jira where that pic was linked, http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-12906.

Of course, if it looks nothing nearly as screwed up as that, sorry for the gruesome image, and try to forget I said anything. :o
