Land and available prims

Hi all, I recently aquired my first chunk of SL real estate (woohoo!) and I have one question regarding the total prim count.
If I buy land and join the plots together, they add to my total availble prims. NOW, if I buy another piece of land that TOUCHES my existing land BUT I do not join it, I still get the total prim count to use on either my original area or the newly purchased one.

So my question is, if I buy another plot in the same sim that does not touch my existing one, will I be able to add my total prims or do the plots have to be physically touching? What about a small plot in another sim? The Lab's FAQ sheet isn't really clear on this. Thanks for any info

I love the ears.
The properties only have to be in the same sim in order to share the total prim count. They don't have to be touching or joined.

Same sim not touching yes. Different sim no.

Right.

The parcels don't need to touch unless you want to convert them into a single parcel. All parcels in a sim with the same owner, touching or not, share their prim allotment.

Hey Cunundrum! I sure have! I've scouted out every Disney SL artifact I could find. I'm trying to talk Disney into bringing their corporate presence into SL but so far, they're not too interested. But who deals with "Your World, Your Imagination" better than Disney!??
