What kind of frame have you bought? Is it modifiable? Does it come with instructions?
If so,it should tell you how to replace the picture.
Or is it just a frame with no centre. In that case you need to rex a prim and size that to the frame. Then you can add the picture to the prim using the texture box.
Sorry, but it difficult to answer this without knowing what kind of frame you've bought.

Since you have to add another prim to put your picture on, you may as well just build the whole thing and save the money Since she already has the frame, all she has to do is rez a prim for the picture. Just make a square the size of the hole in the frame, texture it with the photo and stick the two together. Madelaine - the first part of your question talked about taking a picture. You know how to take the photo and upload it to your inventory, right? If not, we'll walk you through that as well. If you need more help actually sizing the stuff up and putting the picture on the prim, we can do that too. It's simple, but if you're really new and haven't done it before, it's not self explanatory.

oh I have a handy little device for putting a frame around any picture and there is a decent amount of choice, 8 finishes I think, 3 widths and you still end up with 1 prim! Madelaine I'll send you a LM of the place you can get it from in world and it's FREE  |
