Need help with a controversial feature on Emerald.

I've been having a helluva time figuring out most the features of Emerald. One being the flexi boobs lol. I clicked that box to enable flexi breasts but now there just be two invisible spots in the middle of most female avi chests. Also I was hella curious about this ability to locate another avi's position in game through IM. This would come in very handy as my tribe in the rp sim i play at is under almost constant attack. Heh would be cool if our small humble tribe knew about an attack from our much larger enemies. We would be much more able to defend ourselves if we knew about them creeping into our territory from the neighboring sim. If someone can drop this knowledge on me I'd be hella grateful and shoot you some Linden for your trouble. Thanks.

I have noticed this happenind as well the invisable spots in the boobs I mean, you are nto alone... I have to relog as a rebake doesnt help....... You can only locate as I understand if they are on same sim, but radar does just as well.

If the boobs become holes in the chest, set your draw distance to zero and then back -- fixes it almost all the time.

You cannot find anyone's location via IM. If they are in the same sim, you can find them, but as Tarina said, that is something any radar can do.

Most RP sims discourage even using the mini-map to see folks around you -- most consider it a form of cheating.

Emerald's breast physics is vastly overrated.

You used to be able to find people's locations when they IMed you. But it was an exploit, and required modding the viewers source.

Of course this has been fixed.

The invisible boobs thing is a bug. The Emerald developers are aware of it, and have been almost since it came out. TPing out of and back into a sim usually fixes it, too.

My boobs don't have invisible holes in them!!!

How do we know if a hole is invisibile or not ?

That only fixes things temporarily for me. The holes return within a few minutes. I just reverted back to the previous version, waiting for the bug to be fixed. But I will try LMJ's draw distance fix.

It's yet another example of rushing software out without proper testing. I doubt that practice is going to change any time soon.

Just tried it... did not work for me.

I did not have to go back to the previous version, I simply turned the bewbie physics off and that cleared the hole-in-the-chest issue for me.

I just tested it.

Not only do I get the holes, but I don't get the jiggle with the new version, whether I fiddle with the draw distance or turn the effect on or off.

Previous version gives me the jiggles and no holes.

Your results may vary.

As an aside, I was testing at a club, where I could be assured that there'd be breasts ajiggling, and I wonder, am I the only one who thinks loud howls are the most annoying thing in SL?

That jiggle isn't very impressive anyway. I think I still have mine turned on........I'll have to check the next time I log in.

You just don't have that baby cranked up high enough. The way mine's set, I'm surprised every woman isn't walking around SL with black eyes!

BTW, the latest version of Emerald not only shows holes where the breasts should be, but when they do show up they don't jiggle, no matter what the setting.

Version 1.23.5 (950) on the other hand has given me a good case of whiplash trying to keep up with those things.
