Classified ad "clicks" info

I have an inexpensive classified for my store. For some reason I thought that the "clicks, map, profile" counters were supposed to update weekly. My "clicks" number doesn't seem to update at all anymore though. The number I see there appears to be cumulative now, rather than a weekly total that resets when it auto renews.

Did it ever update weekly, or was I sniffing glue and made that up?

(I know that there was a bug with updates if you ran multiple ads, but I just have one.)

Thanks. :)

This is a much-debated topic. I'm not sure anyone really understands how the classifieds stats work, but one thing is certain: They're unpredictable.

Thanks Wildefire. :)

I don't know what they are doing either, but it is clear that there is no way my count is a weekly update.

They don't update every week, you need to manually reset them for the weekly figure to be meaningful.

Thank you Ciaran. If I had to manually redo it every week, frankly, I would probably forget and lose what little exposure I get from it. Looks like I'll be staying with auto-renew and living with the count as is.

Thanks for the help.

I created a Jira about it:

http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-9182

Ahh return of the dreaded 503 messages!

Thanks for the Jira. :) I went and voted for it.

Now, can you make one about the errors we're getting? :p
