I'm looking to move home soon and am hoping to get some recommendations from you all on great places I can take a look at. I'm looking to rent a house and land not buy, with fairly generous prim limit or the option to buy more prims if needed

Any help is greatly appreciated

Hi Hatusu, if you want a nice house, lots of variety in designs, try wicked, just type it into seach - places, it should come up with some rental info. Also the landlord is very helpful and might be able to allocate extra prim if you need it.

Blatant pitch for myself ...

Check out Dreamscape Properties (http://slurl.com/secondlife/Houndsfield/79/72/46), we have a variety of different sized homes in some beautiful natural surroundings .. and additional prims can always be negociated.

This really should be in the Land Sales & Rentals forum, not here. But since my signature already says the same thing, I'll go ahead and answer quickly here.

We currently have space available for rent in Indigo. It's on the oldest section of the mainland (terrarofamable +/- 40M), it's nice and quiet, rent is low (not a penny over cost), the neighbors are friendly, and it's about as low-lag as you'll ever find on the mainland. Let me know if you want to come take a look.

oh you should check out where i live! it's a beautifully themed estate with six sims managed by a wonderful woman by the name of Silent Watts. There is a rental office on the most westerly sim called Wando or you can just open up the map and look at all the yellow parcels for sale. http://world.secondlife.com/place/12edafc8-d6ac-62a1-57ce-f576556d9471

Even though you "buy" the parcel, it's for a small fee and you can't resell anyways. This gives you all the land management options available. The land also is really nicely landscaped and comes with amazing homes .. not crap freebie ones you see in a lot of places. What's even better is you don't have to pay for the landscaping prims or house prims that Silent already incurs the cost of purchasing and prims. You only pay for basically your decorating prims which you can get more of later if you want. Tell Silent Watts, Josh sent ya if you decide to move in. Also take a look of some of the pics from our sims http://silentsfolly.ning.com/photo

I'll recommend my own as well. Lots of people tell me they love them. They are simple but unique.
