When I appear in SL,others rezzing around me, and objects rezzing around me produce showers of either red or blue triangular shapes, almost particle textured. Continuing to wander through SL, any movement, from plants, clothing, or objects rezzing produce these shapes.
I've asked nearby people if they are experiencing this and the answer is no.
Have I picked up some dastardly SL virus???This has only started recently, since the last update. (1.19.1.4 )

You have 'show updates' enabled, I believe it's called. It's in the Client or Advanced menu, can't remember if there is a keyboard shortcut o.o.

Either in the main bit of that menu, or in the Client/Advanced>Rendering

Every once in a while someone asks it, you learn to recognize various problems based on descriptions when using these forums ^_^

Sometimes updating the client for some reason turns it on, or somehow it gets switched on, luckily I've yet to hear of it being a persistant problem ^_^
