A while ago someone was talking about stargates...and it seemed a really interesting thing to explore further. I did a search a few weeks ago and visited some gates..but couldnt really understand how to use them.
Recently I saw one for free on onrez and sent it to my partner...but uhmm..were not sure what to do with it..or what we can do with it...really...sorta thing.
Is there an idiots guide?

Oh, sorry. Misread your post. Contact the designer and ask for clarification. That may lead to a more user-friendly documentation.

At their most basic they are good for hopping from one gate to another randomly. Different gate systems use different commands, but one of the following usually works:
/dial random
/d random
or just
random
Most of the usually throw up a menu if you click them in world. Feel free to come and tinker with mine at MoanaKane
