About 80 percent of my folders are empty in enventory, including no transfer items. Anyone else have this problem?

I recently had this happen and was frantic. A friend passed me an inventory item and all my items were restored. He explained that doing that helped to reset my inv. I had tried clearing cache and relogging but those weren't doing it for me. Can't hurt to try it
