Teen Grid Registering age verify my daughter HELP |

Hi there. My daughter wanted to try the teen grid of second life (with my supervision of course) It won't even let her register without using a moblie phone or paypal to verify. I could let her use my Paypal info as she has no mobile phone but I am worried it will age verify her as an adult instead and either send her to the main grid or disable my SL account. Anyone know anything about this? Why does a teen need to verify anyways?

Why don't you call Linden Lab and get it worked out manually? |

Thanks. I do understand that. I obviously don't want some scummy sick freak adult talking to my teenage daughter, but how is a kid supposed to verify? I guess I will have to call them.

Paypal does have something now where an adult with a paypal account can create an account for their teen -- no clue how the funding of it works and such though.

If you're outside the US, sad news - teen registration has been broken for about 2 years now.
There's a jira here ... https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-734 I think it's supposed to work on the parent's ID somehow, but I couldn't tell you for sure, the page has never let me get that far. _____________________
